The UEFA Champions League ( UCL) known as a club football competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and contested by the best European clubs, where the winner passes through a group competition in the first matches then the knockout format will be at the end.

In the last 10 years (Since 2009 ) the UCL is preceded by two qualifications 'streams' for teams that do not receive direct entry to the tournament proper.
These Two streams are divided between teams qualified by virtue of being league champions, and those qualified by virtue of finishing 2nd–4th in their national championship, this would be applied for the English Premier League, the Spanish League, The Italian league, and the German league.
